Proof of Delivery
Proof of Delivery:
The consignee signature combined with the time of delivery is your Proof-of-Delivery (POD). The POD indicates that your shipment was received in good condition at the appropriate destination. POD information is automatically uploaded to GSO's system through handheld scanning devices within minutes of delivery. POD information is then available at our tracking page or by contacting the GSO Customer Service Center.
Releasing Packages Without Signatures:
Every package delivered by GSO requires a signature at the point of delivery unless released for delivery without signature by the shipper. If you are aware in advance that no signature will be required at the point of delivery and you would like the driver to leave your package without a signature, add the words "OK to leave without signature" into the special instructions field.
Original Signature Copies:
Copies of the actual signature obtained as proof-of-delivery (Hard copy POD's) can be requested by calling our Customer Service Center at 800-322-5555.
